GOURLEY PARK

Public BBQ

East Fremantle's Gourley Park boasts its first nature-based playground, accompanied by a bicycle pump track. Situated under a large tree, the playground connects children with nature through its sustainable design, featuring a slide, stump slice, balancing logs, and a swing with a rope ball seat. Designed for children aged 5 to 15, the pump track takes advantage of the park’s natural slope. Highlights include large limestone boulders providing views of the beautiful Swan River. The park also features a new drinking fountain for both people and dogs. This innovative project incorporates materials salvaged from local construction, enhancing its environmental friendliness.
